The multicube™ system is compatible with the established cage system and the microbench system.
However, we have seen individual cases, where problems occured. Schäfter+Kirchhoff has a high demand for quality and accuracy. The tight tolerances associated with this, can in individual cases lead to discrepancies with the imperial dimensions of some cage systems.

Fiber collimator type 60FC-T mounted to a multicube plate using a clamp collar and then connected to an established 30 mm cage system.
The multicube components of series 48 have a rod hole distance of 30 mm. They are compatible to other established 30 mm cage systems or microbench systems.
If you are working with a 60 mm cage system, there are adapters available.
The multicube components of series 68 have a rod hole distance of 60 mm. They are compatible to other established 60 mm cage systems.
If you are working with a 30 mm cage system, there are adapters available.
