Line Scan Cameras with Gigabit Ethernet and GigE Vision Interface

from 512 to 22800 pixels, monochrome or color or TDI

Schäfter+Kirchhoff offers two alternative types of line scan camera with a Gigabit Ethernet interface. The hardware of both camera series is technically identical and they differ only in their respective firmware. Cameras of the V-series are 100% GigE Vision compatible and programing is performed using the Gen<i>Cam interface.

Cameras of the G-series are not Vision compliant. The major strengths of the G-series are their high performance, flexibility, and additional function beyond the standard.

  • special preprocessing algorithms can be implemented in the camera.
  • externally synchronizable for each line (LineSync), or for image (FrameSync)
  • customer-specific IO signals in addition to the video signal
  • SDK from Schäfter+Kirchhoff with the SkLine-Scan operating program, libraries and examples (Sk91GigE-WIN)
  • compliant with the international standard for the industrial processing of image data based upon the Gigabit Ethernet protocol
  • cameras are supported by any 3rd party software, which uses GEN<i>CAM™ software interface
  • Schäfter+Kirchhoff provides the SkGEVTool, with its oscilloscope display of the signal, for adjustment of the camera
